Gratitude

I’ve been very quiet on my blog (been nearly a year since my last post!). Anyway, I have decided to write more regularly and with your encouragement I am sure I shall.

Yesterday, I went for a meeting…it was a Friday and I couldn’t find my destination. 45 minutes later, I realised I was just next to my meeting place when I had decided to take the longest U-Turn ever! The traffic was just crazy, Friday meant close to the weekend plus lunch and prayer time.

Nearly 3 hours in the car and I was hot, bothered and irritable. But I had a friend for company which also meant we were laughing at the most inane things. I bought a very greasy packet of potato crisps….shhhh! don’t tell anyone.

For a moment I did regret that I missed my Art Therapy class. Art, music, tv serial shows, friendship and of course family….these are the things that have got me through my most difficult days.

And so that brings me to a beautiful quote which I leave you with as I sign off for today…. (thank you for reading)

Infinity of Life

Writing doesn’t come to me naturally. Talking more than even necessary does! A dear friend has pushed me into starting a blog for reasons she may explain better! One of them is probably so I can speak less 🙂

In my recent and new experiences of healing there are a few gems in words which I continually read to keep me going. The ones below are from Louise Hay, a remarkable woman who believes strongly in affirmations and self healing.

In the infinity of life where I am, all is perfect,
whole, and complete, and yet life is ever changing.
There is no beginning and no end,
Only a constant cycling and recycling
of substance and experiences.
Life is never stuck, static or stale,
for each moment is ever new and fresh.
I am one with the very Power which created me,
and this Power has given the power to create my own circumstances.
I rejoice in the knowledge that I have the power
of my own mind to use in any way I choose.
Every moment of life is a new beginning point as we move from the old.
This moment is a new point of beginning for me right here and right now.
All is well in my world.
~Louise Hay~
